OVERVIEW: Again, a lot of action in the PM but the locate situation was once more an absolute joke. AMST, WNW, TRNR – no locates at all; MTVA $0.55 on a stock that barely gained a dollar. This is as bad as it’s ever been. Might get worse still when PDT is removed with how many chat rooms are now short-oriented. Things have gotten too crowded.

The RUBI locate wasn’t cheap but acceptable given the stock’s range. Took a starter but after that locates vanished and I had to play the locate game (less size to work around what I had located). Had hoped for another leg but didn’t get that and rode my starter back to the UP.

Not much during RTH. Covered some swings (QUCY, SQQQ) but didn’t put another trade on. I’m visiting family for two weeks and I’m not sitting at the screens all day if it isn’t an extremely active day which is the reason I covered CODX b/e.

Indexes finally followed through and the Qs were down almost 4% off their recent highs at todays lows. The dip got bought aggressively yet again. Had hoped for a little lower to start putting on some swings; ~3.6% isn’t very impressive following a 30% run. Maybe I’m putting too much emphasis on what indexes are doing and should be more focused on individual stocks’ PA.
